Policy

The Economy, Business and Trade Policy Commission develops Labour’s economic and business policy, including industrial strategy and international trade.

This includes how we boost productivity, improve skills and infrastructure, and how we create industrial and trade strategies fit for the twenty-first century. The Commission meets regularly to consider evidence and submissions, identify challenges, and develop Labour policy in these areas.

The members of the Policy Commission are drawn from the National Policy Forum, the Shadow Cabinet and the National Executive Committee. Its membership reflects all parts of our movement, including Labour party members, affiliated organisations and elected politicians
